Little Stars

A documentary experiment

Little Stars is an ongoing exploratory documentary project about Little Stars School, a "fee-free" school for underprivileged children in Varanasi, India. Started several years ago during multiple trips to Varanasi, India, Little Stars wishes to tell the story of its main characters through time, as the school develops and time tells its tale.

This 10 minutes piece filmed in 2010 in SD video introduces the school, several of the children and two of the main characters: Asha Pandey, Founder and Director, and Pierre Satjin, Administrator. The next round of filming will take place in early 2017.
